Large, Quality 12.50\" Fluorapophyllite, Stilbite/Stellerite on Quartz coated basalt - Nashik, Maharashtra, IndiaDescriptionThe specimen measures 12.50 inches across, 5.25 inches up and down, and is 2.50 inches thick, weighs 8.65 pounds.Really a nice, just over a foot across (32cm) basalt matrix plate nearly coated with quartz, some that is in rounded, ball form, along with a scattering of light green/yellow fluorapophyllites and stilbite/stellerite.  Some of the stilbite/stellerite forms rows on the specimen.  A small, cleaved area is present on the left side and just minor edge contact is present.  Nice large cabinet specimen! Collected from the Deccan basalts in Nashik, Maharashtra, India.
