LS&S Germany Chicago World\'s Fair Columbian Expo 1893 Electrical Building Plate Antique earthenware plate. Decorated in a brown transfer scene depicting the Electric Building at the Chicago World\'s Fair Columbian Exposition 1893. With hand colored highlights in purple, blue, yellow ocher, and pink. Has a brown transfer border. Marked on the reverse L.S. & S. Germany. Probably imported by Lazarus Straus & Sohne. Has crazing typical of earthenware, wear consistent with age and use, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 7 3/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.AX
