Rare British LSS Landing Ship Stern Chute WW2 Blueprints HMS Daffodil Amphibious:
$549.00

***Note*** It appears only two British ships ever received the nomenclature or designation \"LSS\" during World War II. One was called the HMS Daffodil, which was sunk during the war, and I can\'t find any info on the other.
From a huge Estate Collection - These ship blueprints were created and or maintained by the U.S. Government leading up to the United States involvement in WWII up until the 1950\'s. We have many other ship documents / blueprints / spy photos from ships owned by Russia, Germany, France, Italy, and Great Britain. The backstory was these files were sourced to create a book on WWII ships - specifically landing craft - I\'m not sure if the book was ever published, but the subject matter contained in these folders was at one time (over 75 years ago) held closely by the U.S. Military - as many are marked classified, secret, etc. As far as I know, many of the photos and blueprints in this collection are unique, and all are guaranteed type 1 original. The blueprints are also going to likely be the most accurate representation available for many of these ships - which should be of particular importance for model builders, historians, or museums. Please check out our other listings for more from the same collection - this truly is a lot worthy of display in a museum, or in an advanced private collection. Each lot will be separated by ship/class/country and we are willing to negotiate prices on multiple lots won. Lastly, please let us know if you have any questions or would like additional pics to aid in your buying decision. There are marks of wear consistent with age and usage. Please study the pictures for exact detail and condition. It measures approximately 28 by 49 inches!Buy from us with confidence.
