Handmade deluxe ballpoint pen. This pen is made from a solid block of Bocote, an exotic wood from Central America. Bocote is known for it\'s striking grain patterns and this is very evident on this pen. The body is made by inserting the brass tubing which is the mechanism of the pen and then is turned on a wood lathe, completely by hand, to the desired shape. This is a style of pen that is of a European Deluxe design and reminiscent of one of the most famous pen makers in Europe. The mechanism is a twist and the refill is a Cross-style, so that refills are easy to find. The finish is first stabilized with 4 coats of CA and then is polished in 4 seperate stages to the finished product. Each and every item here at the Crane River Woodwright shop is 100% handmade by myself. Nothing is imported from \"another country\" for resell.
