German First Communion Prayer Book, 1890
This is a wonderful antique collectible prayer book. The full title reads in German: "Hail Mary!Prayer and devotional booklet in honor of the Virgin Mary". The book is 245 pages and contains many litanies, prayers for confession, holy communion, the ordinary of the mass and much, much more. It comes in the original box.
The book is bound in marbleized Lucite with embossed initials "AV" (Ave Maria) surrounded by a garland of roses and "Souvenir of Holy Communion". It has gilded page edges with a 1890 Imprimatur.
