ICONIC Gerald Thurston Honeycomb mid century modern 50\'s Vintage Porcelain lamp Silk Shade. The lamp is 32 inches from the base to the top of the shade if you want to add the finial you add an additional inch for 33 inches. The shade at its bottom is 16 in diameter and at the top its diameter is 7.5 inches and the height of the shade in total is 10.5 inches. The lamp is a three-way lamp with a single bulb. The lamp itself is an amazing brown color with a honeycombed pattern throughout on all sides with a brass base. It has the original cord which other than a couple paint specs on it appears to be fine. I have not tried to clean the lamp up in anyway and I’ve left it vintage. The finial appears to be original. The lamp cord is original and it is not an in bad shape at all and the lamp works properly. This is a very rare lamp and the shade is very high-quality with a silk inner lining. Certainly if you wanted to change the look of a lamp you could always change the shade but that will be up to the new owner. The lamp itself is heavy as you would expect for something of this quality. This is a substantial lamp that will absolutely make a room. The price I am asking is justified given the fact that lamps like this one found in this condition are typically anywhere from $16-$1900. Most of the time they do not have a shade for the original finial. I will ship the lamp by itself without the shade in one box to the buyer. I will ship the shade in a separate box to the buyer to make certain that they to do not conflict with one another and damage either one during the shipping process. The shipping charges will be a little bit larger and will be a flat fee because I will not be using one box and in fact will be shipping them separately. Everything will be expertly packed in order to protect its contents during shipment.
