An original US Army letter from Major GH Crosman, at Philadelphia, March 5, 1856 to Schuylkill Arsenal ordering delivery of military items to "Fort Washita, Ark" [sic] incl uniform jackets, caps, nco uniforms, canteens, etc, for Company C, 5th US Artillery. 1p 8 x 11" ink, sgd by Crosman as US Quartermaster.Major George H Crosman was a noted frontier officer, credited with bringing the Army Camels to Arizona.
