EXTREMELY RARE ANTIQUE SHAKER IRON PIE HOLDING TRIVET

With our compliments we are pleased to offer this very rare and interesting 19th century Shaker iron pie holding trivet with scissor action. We were fortunate to have acquired this trivet along with several other fascinating Shaker related antiques from a private collection. We share a strong passion with many of our clients for premium shaker made antique objects and have no doubt this trivet will find its way to a deserving and discerning collector. It was a true delight to acquire this and we have thoroughly enjoyed our time with it. This highly collectible piece has curved sides and penny feet which allows it to hold pies and serve from. It has a 15" long body and is absolutely authentic and correct.
