For sale is an exceptional matched pair of antique cherub topped patinated bronze picture frames
The frames being circa 1890 to 1910 in age.
Possibly French. Possibly American. The consensus was French, but we are unsure.
No makers, mark or manufacturer marks noted
The frames adorned with lovely bronze cast cherubs with the cutest little wings perched atop while holding up the curtains to the opening sight of the picture frame. Such a charming little scene.
The frame moldings having wrapped floral decorations throughout.
The frames having the appearance of both an art nouveau and an arts and crafts aesthetic. Possibly Edwardian period frames.
The frames with their original bronze backer plates and bronze stands.
The frames with a lovely rich patinated antique bronze surface

In overall excellent condition for age
While these frames may be small, they are solid bronze and have some good weight to them. Our shipping costs reflect the heavy package weight.
