Electric Cutlery Co (Friedmann & Lauterjung) Straight Razor W/ Box - Newark, NJ For Sale

This rare (or at least an oddity to us) straight razor made by The Electric Cutlery Co.appears to be in EX-NM condition (please see images and make your own grade accordingly). Blade shows minor signs of use but is in beautiful NMcondition (again use images and make your own grade/opinion). What makes this in our opinion \"RARE\" is the etched blade. The blade has a beautiful bear etched into it with what looks to be the initials \"NY GW\" on either side of said bear. This razors (bakelite?) scale (handle) is in EX condition and has an intricate design. Original box shows shelf wear with clear tape repair on ends (see images).* NO cleaning or restoration work has been done by us. Item is in \"As Found\" condition from a very meticulous owners collection who took great pride in all his belongings. We are proud to have the opportunity to find new caretakers of his collection.
