Measuring approximately 7 by 8 1/2 inches, this is an original pencil sketch by acclaimed Playboy cartoonist Doug Sneyd. It is a preliminary sketch for his gag cartoon for PlayboyJanuary 1987 (and later reprinted in The Art of Doug Sneyd on page 231). In good condition, it will be shipped with the utmost care. Also included in with the listing is a copy of the final version of the cartoon as it was ultimately published in Playboy. Would look great framed together!

About Doug Sneyd:

Doug Sneyd began his career incommercial illustration before going freelance to work for a variety of book and magazine publishers. He also illustrated single-panel cartoons for theToronto Star, Canada\'s largest circulation newspaper (cartoons that were eventually syndicated throughout North America). In 1964, he began working for Playboyand hisgag strips have appeared in the magazine ever since. Throughout his career, he has contributed over 500 cartoons in all and became a favorite artist of Playboy readers.
