The plate hasa decorative border with a centralimagefeaturing The President's House on the Denison University campus.The back ofthis plate carries themanufacturer'smark: "The President's House -- 1831 - Denison University - 1956 -- One Hundred Twenty Fifth Anniversary -- Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston, Made in England -- Engraved By The Wedgwood Studios". The Wedgwood impressions/incisions are also present.
Thisplate was part of a large Wedgwood collection that was carefully stored away for many years, and it is in excellent condition - no crazing, chips, cracks, repairs, stains ormarks anywhere on this item.Any reflection, distortion or shadowin the photos is the result of camera and lighting issues.
