Available for immediate purchase is this exquisite,late 1920s to early 1930s, new (with about 50 percent evaporation), fullycorded (early wire chain) and sealed with a good portion of its membrane intact, guaranteed authentic, original formulation, made in Paris, France,Bellodgia extrait splash in a dainty 1.161-ounce size by Caron (10 Rue de laPaix Paris). All photos were taken in natural light at 40x magnification to best highlight overall item condition.The buyer will receive the exact item pictured.This bottle is in excellent condition for its age. This acid-etched (number 51) Baccarat bottle measures approximately 2.5inches tall from the top of its boule stopper to its flat base. It is 1.75 incheswide with a depth of about 1.25 inches. The thick orange paper label, whichreads “Bellodgia Caron Paris France” is completely intact/legible and features earlygilded scroll-work corners versus the latter solid orange ones. The body of this bottle is in lovely condition with no chips, flea bites, glasssickness, or other damage. The boule crystal stopper has a few tiny flea bitesat its lower rim. Some of these may actually be baudruche/wax residue. Pleasenote the photos.This bottle was designed by Felicie Vanpouille (with a crystal stopper carvedto resemble an uncut diamond) and made by Baccarat. Bottles made after 1936 arestamped Baccarat. Those made prior to this time are not. This bottle is acid-etched(number 51) on both the base of the bottle and at the tip of the stopper. Baccaratacid-etched its early bottles as each crystal stopper was hand ground to perfectlyfit only one bottle.Originally created in 1927 by Paris perfumer, Ernest Daltroff, Bellodgiacontains over 100 ingredients. It is a classified as a floral carnation scentwith top notes of jasmine and carnation, heart notes of Bulgarian rose, violetand lily of the valley and base notes of woods, musk and vanilla. Thisfragrance was created for Daltroff’s muse and business partner, FélicieVanpouille, and aptly named to remind Vanpouille of her beloved Bellagia – anItalian town near Lake Como.Shipping
