Here for your consideration is one (1) of asmall group of Vatican mint cast St. Benedict crosses that will be offered forsale individually that were formerly from the estate of Catholic CardinalBonaventura Cerrettii. These were all acquired by Bertha (the founder ofChurch-Woman Antiques), in 1933 directly from the Cardinals private secretary;the Cardinal would give them as gifts to VIP patrons of the Church. They havenever been blessed or worn, and the patinas are unique to each cross. The crossis 2.75 inches long and weighs 15 grams of solid bronze.
