The first to start creating boxes for cigars were the Spanish, and after this all the importers of cigars who at one time or another created elaborate chests to present their product. Cedar was selected among the woods for its quality to keep moisture, light weight and good aroma. What enhances the flavor of the cigar when kept in boxes made of this peculiar wood. But the most interesting thing is that the Spanish discovered the qualities of cedar to store cigars for a long time, in the same way that we use it today ...
