Description

Fago Magazines, the small press of artist Al Fago, picks up the Cold War-paranoia series about a future where "atomic" weapons replace conventional ones. The previous publisher was St. John. One-page speculations on future warfare include infantry soldiers wearing jetpacks or traveling by rocket. A longer story predicts the Space Race for 1972, as an American astronaut risks his life to save his Soviet competitor. Martha copes with the stress of being married to Jeff, a Cold War jet pilot. A grim story speculates on what would happen if an atomic bomb was dropped on an American city.
