This antique daily journal book from 1921 provides a glimpse into history. The few entries list hotels, names, and business names and addresses. I'm guessing it concerns some sort of business venture. The entry on January 11 gives a hotel in Evansville, Indiana, sold for $468 and details about the day, but further entries were mostly brief and only contain hotel, business, and names. Addresses are all over the country. Apparently, they lost interest in recording or quit the business venture since there are no entries after January 28th. Within the book is a folded receipt for shares and a handwritten accounting on the back going into 1922. Also, a pamplet for Meeer Hand Bags for the merchant and his sales people and card for Treasure Solid Silve R L & B Co. Like products that were sold
It is titled Date Book for 1921, with Trade Mark K & T reg. U.S. Pat. Off. It includes a calendar for 1921 and 1922 as well as a page with postage information.
The book itself is in fair vintage condition. The title on the cover is worn off, and both front and back show a lot of wear. The binding is broken both inside and out, but the pages are still tightly held. One page in the memoranda section has a torn hole and numbers written. There is also some writing on the cover page.
