Anri 20\" Wood Carving The Good Shepherd With 3 Lambs Italy Ltd Ed 72/120 HugeThis rare 20\" Anri wood carving from Italy is called \"The Good Shepherd\" and has the artists name Ferrandiz, carved on the base. This huge piece is number 72 of only 120 ever made and was carved from a block of wood and then hand painted. The figurine depicts a shepherd with three lambs and is barefoot and wearing a robe.This huge piece measures about 20\" in height and 9\" by 8 1/4\" at the base and weighs 9 lbs 7 ozs. The figurine has some dust in it\'s creases from years of being carefully displayed and I have chosen not to clean it as I didn\'t want to take a chance of damaging it. For a piece of it\'s age it is in excellent condition with only a few tiny nicks in the paint. Close ups of the base have been provided to show paint chips/loss on the base. There are no cracks or damage. The ANRI logo is also etched into the base as well as the limited edition numbers 72 /120. The artists name is also carved on the side of the base.This piece is from a wonderful collection of ANRI wood carvings that I will be listing over the next few months. I will package it carefully with a lot of bubble wrap and padding and insure it for shipping.
