Offering 4 vintage REPRINTS by Jones Photos, Hoquiam, WA. (reprints 1950-1970 is my guess)
Three of the photos have the plate number on the reverse and are stamped JONES PHOTO CO.
The Jones Family of photographers began their journey when Jones senior opened a portrait studio in Hoquiam, WA. while Bliss, at the age of 22 bought an Aberdeen Commercial and photofinishing studio in 1914. Thus began the Jones family dynasty. Bliss' son, Willaim D. "Bill" Jones carried the business into the 21st century.
Photo 1) #4536 c 1926. This photo was taken for Standard Oil Co most likely for advertising purposes. It shows Lincoln Service Station, Hoquiam, WA at the corner of Lincoln and Eklund. The Car in the foreground has a sign on the spare wheel cover that reads Cogdill Bros, Hoquiam. There is a Zerolene sign on the side of the building just right of the ladder, an old car parked in the driveway. The Red Crown pumps are under the drive thru area. Several plants hang from the eves, a small Red Crown sign is on the sidewalk. Another very nice car is at the curb.

Photo 4) #4988 Dr Chamberlain taking delivery of new Ford Model A Cabriolet from Lee Bigelow c 1928. There is a church to the right, and across the street is the Paramount Service General Gasoline Station. The older car in the photo is a 1906 "N" Ford was, it is told, added to the photo to give contrast between the old and new. Location Hoquiam, WA.
The photos are in excellent condition, each measure 5 x 7.
