Another NICE LARGE LOT of 25 Early Native American Archaic Stone Arrowheads and Spearheads, From 1920 Virginia Collection
DESCRIPTION:Scansshow it all.....very nice variety of early handmade stonearrowheads and spearheads. Part of an early Virginiacollection. These are not marked, but several of the ax heads in the collection weremarked in the 1924-1926 range, which helps to date the collection.
This is when they were found and obviously they are much olderthan that,.... hundreds, and probably thousands of years old.
This is one of the last lots I have left from the original collection. Very nice appearance and clearly and nicely hand made, from a variety of different types of stone. Found in Virginia, on private land with owner\'spermission.
These are nice ones, with particularly nice/sharp chipping along the edges. Some are also large as you can see, measuring up to 3-4\" long. Variety of great shapes and styles. They will make a great display framed or as an addition to an existing collection.
This lot also has a nice LARGE KNIFE BLADE AND NICE LARGE SCRAPER.
A special addition to any collection of Native American or Virginia items,or a great display grouping by itself or with some of the others.
