UNIQUE AND BEAUTIFUL-GORGEOUS ARTWORK-HARDCTO FIND COMPLETE SET
This is an absolutely wonderful item that needs to be with someone that with give it the respect and love it deserves. I couldn’t find anything quite like this and my info is slim to moon but I believe this is an ORIGINAL & COMPLETE 1979 buddhist prayer book with beads and its original paper like case. The beads themselves are very nice and in really nice condition. I am not sure if it’s missing some thing or if there’s damage on there that I just can’t see beautifully made wood balls or beads with in tact string. the book THE LITURGY OF NICHIREN SHOSHU is “THE TAISEKIJI VERSION FIRST PRINTING 1979 -1979 NICHIREN TEMPLE”
It seems to be complete and not missing anything and it’s in very nice condition considering I will say though it looks like it has been wet at some point and the staples rusted so there’s some marks in the crease of every page and maybe something I didn’t see, but the cover itself and the back cover of the book Look to be in fairly nice condition. no stains, maybe a little bit of fading, but that is about it . NOW TO MY FAVORITE PART OF THIS WHOLE SET. The paper case, at least it feels like paper, but it has to be some kind of woven material because it’s not paper and it’s sewn. there’s wrinkles and crinkles and some creases in it but the artwork is absolutely GORGEOUS !!! You can see the time someone put into just making the case alone seems to be fairly delicate. The corners look like they’ve been smashed, and it looks like it’s been opened a time or two, there are places where you can see some woven material or some netting. Please see photos.
I found these things online, but they weren’t together as a whole. I found everything individually, except for the case I could not find anything matching that, but I only did a quick Google image search and an image search on so I’m sure if somebody put some time into it they could find exactly what this is..
