On a personal note, I saw Flip Wilson when he attended the Bob Hope Classic Golf Tournament at Tamarisk Country Club in Rancho Mirage California in 1975... He was driving a beautiful brown Rolls-Royce. He tipped the valet parking attendant $100 to park his car, and then, another $100 when he picked it up. The car attendant said that Mrs. Wilson had already tipped him and Mr. Wilson said - you keep it for being honest... Such respect for this man and his talent.
