We personally obtained this in trash bin at his San Francisco headquarters located on Market Street the day "after". 100% Original.

As most of you know the background of my RFK items which are listed on . I am now 89 years old and during the 1960's (in my 30's) was very active in collecting political items--at that time I lived in San Jose. The day "after" we were visiting my in-laws in San Francisco. My son became bored and suggested taking a drive somewhere which sounded good to me. We ended up at Robert's campaign H.Q. on Market St. in S.F. It was closed, of course, but out of curiosity decided to take a look behind the building. The contents of the building appeared to had just been emptied--stuff strewn everywhere--on the ground and in dumpsters etc.. At the time I had a Rambler station wagon and since all would be destroyed and lost to history decided to try to save as much as possible (had to leave room for family of five). Hard to say what was left behind but we were able to rescue some items for history.
