Six days earlier on May 15th, riding the Faith 7, Cooper orbited the Earth 22 times and logged more space time than all five previous Mercury astronauts combined. He also became the first astronaut to sleep on the launch pad as well as in space. The ticket is authenticated genuine by PCGS Currency and graded Choice New 63.
