This classic & unusual, 1951 Gillette Super Speed"Black Tip" DE razor you are viewing was thoroughly cleaned, polished, and sanitized.
This is the heavier, steel handle version. Black Tips were also made with aluminum handles. The tip is made of durable plastic.
It's in excellent working condition. The doors open andclose smoothly, as well as tighten down evenly and securely.
The cosmetic condition is exellent to near mint with no plate wear/brassing. You'll find a bit of light water staining around the head. Naturally this doesn't effect the shaving experience.
"W-2" is the date code, found under the head, andconfirms that this razor was manufactured by Gillette during the second quarterof 1951.
Included is a new five pack of stainless steel blades. Brands may vary.No blades will be shipped with international orders to avertany potential issues with customs.
