This is a listing for a 32-page 8 1/2\" x 5 1/2\" Advertising Recipe Booklet from KINGAN\'S RELIABLE. This is called \"What Do We Eat? First Choose the Meat...\". This booklet has colored illustrations showing not only some of the dishes you can prepare, but also dishware of the time, being 1937. The centerfold has a terrific color advertisement for the \"International Style\" canned foods from this Company including English Beef Steak & Kidney Stew, Spaghetti & Meatballs with Sauce, Chicken a la King, Chili con Carne with and without beans, Hot Tamales in sauce, Corned Beef Hash and Hungarian Goulash with vegetables. There are color diagrams of meat cuts. There are a couple terrific black and white photographs for people enjoying food at the breakfast table or a cocktail party. Fun! I have provided some example pictures of some of the pages.
The lady that collected this did so in the 1910\'s, 1920\'s, 1930\'s and 1940\'s. It is fun to see some of the old-time recipes that are still classics today.
