1936 Heirloom Convex Glass Frame Portrait John McLain Young Studio Of Fine Arts For Sale

Please review all pictures for overall condition and size, as this helps form the overall condition/description of the item. Wear is consistent with age and use. In excellent condition, minor wear around, the portrait itself has some stains on the back (pictured) nothing that shows up through the painting, the glass has some roughness around the edge but is all hidden by the frame. The portrait of John McLain Young is a water color painted from a photograph. It's done very well. The frame is in excellent condition and is of excellent quality. You can either use it with the fold out stand or hang it by the 2 brass loops on the back. Very nice convex bubble glass in the frame, just an excellent 1930s look to it. Measures about 16" X 10" and will fit photos about that size, the wall of the frame in not that thick since it is sturdy brass. Done at the Studio of Fine Arts in Chicago 1936.
