1927 Wahl BCHR Lever fill fountain pen - #2 Flex nib - restored For Sale

You will definitely fall for this vintage 1920\'s era fountain pen that has miraculously kept it\'s rich black color along with it\'s lovely and still crisp Grecian Border chasing. The gold plated trim is still nice and bright with three rings on cap and one more at base of barrel. Who doesn\'t love the Wahl pocket clips with their ball? Of average dimensions measuring 5-1/8\" capped and 7\" posted. As for posting, it holds tightly although only sliding a little over 1/4\" probably due to an imperceptible amount of swelling or shrinking. Under magnification I noticed 2 or 3 small gouges at extreme top of cap which are not all noticeable unless you have x-ray vision. I always try to get lots of pictures to give a good sense of condition. The nib is a flexy medium and the writing sample was done by dipping as a new latex ink sac was just installed and is drying as I write this. Lots of meat (iridium) left on this nib as shown in closeup picture. The paper used was plain old 20# printer paper which can vary in smoothness and porousness.
