This print is part of a MUCH larger and very eclectic collection of photos and documents that was purchased in Europe several years ago. The acid free sticker on the reverse of this photo was part of the previous owners collection and catalog system.
Up for sale is an 1870’s Giorgio Sommer Albumen Print. This large mounted print measures approximately 8.5 by 10.5. This print has been called Woman Picking Lice, Woman Grooming Boys, and Picking Lice. Artist's credit and details printed on recto.
Measurements: approximately 10.5 x 8.5 inches
Condition:
There are some wrinkles on the front of the print. Some discoloration in upper left corner. It has a slight overall bend. General signs of age, storage and handling. See photos
