Museum quality Jacquard overshot coverlet from 1832!
Pre-Civil War
I assume this is cotton. Densely woven and fairly heavy.Deep indigo and white -reversible.
Features rose medallions and tree border.
80" x 90" - This is the largest I have ever seen in an antique coverlet - can go over a queen bed with side drop and over King with no drop.
Outstanding quality for the age, but has staining - sort of looks like little rust spots, not sure. It should be cleaned by an archival cleaner.
