1800's Victorian Parrots For the BIRDS on Sea Blue Barkcloth Era Vintage Fabric For Sale

I'm always amazed at how a fabric can make it for 150 years never used and apparently stored ridiculously well. A victorian cotton at your service...here for a visit and to make its debut as one of the sweetest old victorian textiles that still exists today...with a old Key West vibe...it is the ground color so unusual...a deep dark sea blue...the kind of blue you see from cruise ships in the middle of the ocean...with tropical birds and roses in equally rare merlot purples and pinks...just takes this beauty to a whole new existence. I'd frame it...or of course a pillow is an easy fix...but framing it? That would just take the idea of framing to a whole new level.
This offering is for ONE unused unwashed cotton remnant of a cretonne fabric...medium weight and not textured like a traditional barkcloth...yet has all the beauty and grace of the victorian patterns that would be reproduced in the 1930's. radiant merlot wines...lavender purple...dark olive...minty green...cerulean blue...creamy golden yellow...with coffee and white accents. Measures 22 inches wide x 16 inches long. Flawless.
