This listing is for a US Army Military Armor Recognition TASC Fort Knox Target Foam Rubber Vintage BMP in good vintage used condition. Tank is in good physical condition for being produced using foam resin material via casting production process. The barrel is not intact and it appears the Army put what looks like RPG or Sagger in its place (see photos). No markings present. To my knowledge, these vehicles were used for threat and friendly recognition among other uses. Infantry units used them for primarily threat or friendly recognition, but they were also used for terrain models and sand tables. Other units may have used them for field artillery forward observation exercises where they would place the vehicles out in front of an observation post and the forward observers would have to use binoculars and properly identify the vehicles through the binoculars. Not many of these survived making it a very rare find and addition to a toy tank or military collection! Measures roughly 8.25" long () x 3.75" x 2.75".
