The double ended centering tool is marked in very small lettering on one end "BROWN & SHARPE 792-1" and has the .500" and .200" diameters, and is 3.00" long. The V-shaped centering tool is made by PEC TOOLS but is not marked. It is basically designed to pick up center between two holes or the center of a diameter for example, by moving the machine spindle with this tool in the spindle with the V section touching the part until the centering lines on both sections of the gauge line up. It is fairly accurate (based on good eye sight), and fast.
