No chips, cracks, etc.This tray is a very dark, deep green. Much darker than my images show. Too much light this time, perhaps. Bottom marked with the incised Van Briggle mark and Colorado Springs,Co. and dated 1984.If you collect Van Briggle this is a great item to add to your collection.
