It did to a certain extended. The pen is in very good condition but the top slides off too easy from the pen and therefore not quite right for giving as a gift to someone. The seller was very attentive to my comments and had agreed before shipping to accept return. But the cost of return with federal express was $128 dollars which was very close to cost of the pen and not worth returning it. So we are keeping the pen for ourselves or may be can somehow get it fixed.
