There were batteries in figure,but was unable to get voice activated even when new batteries were put in place. For the moment it is front of American flag atop bbookcase in my small office/library in room where several other similar president's figures are housed

This is vintage item but never removed from the box. Couldn't make him talk & hope he just needs batteries. Great addition to US Presidents collection.
