Vintage Orig. Space Age 1970\'s JVC Model 8008 Transistor Fashion Balance Radio For Sale

Here is an original used vintage early 1970\'s JVC Model 8008 balance type fashion transistor radio in bright yellow and chrome plated plastic. It has a wonderful space age look and is in remarkably good shape. There are some scratch marks under the handle where the radio rests on the point of the base. See photo 10. Nothing too bad at all. There is something floating inside the floor of the base bottom. I\'m not sure what it may be. It doesn\'t really effect anything though. It is otherwise in excellent undamaged condition other than some expected light surface use scratches particularly on the chromed end. The radio works but of course can\'t compare to the sound quality available today. The barbell like radio portion measures about 9 1/2 inches long. The whole unit is about 7 1/2 inches tall with the radio sitting on the pointed base. Back of radio is marked on one end, \" 8008 / Made in Japan \" and on the other end, \" Manufactured by Victor Company of Japan Ltd. \" . 70\'s modern at its best. Great bright yellow color.
