Vintage Lot 46 Original Photo Girl Woman Dancer Gladys Neill Long Beach CA 1930s For Sale

Outstanding Lot of 46 Original Publicity Photos or \'Portfolio\' of girl woman named Gladys Neill (1908-63) from Long Beach, CA, many taken by her brother Arthur Neill (1911-82) who was Commercial Photographer and others by studio named Empire during late 1920\'s into 1930\'s. One photo is of a friend with inscription. All but 5 photos have name and date of photo written on back. Gladys took many ballet and dance lessons In Los Angeles area and appeared in dance productions locally including larger venues but does not appear to have \'made it\' in Hollywood which was likely her goal. Or maybe not but these pics seem to indicate otherwise. She certainly was flexible. Lots of costumes in pics from ballet to clown to gypsy to acrobat and more. She never married and died fairly young. Photo sizes mostly 7.5 x 9.5\" range some a little smaller. Conditions are generally very good there is some glare from light in photos and one has 2\" tear at top and there is curling and some have wear along edges. Watermarks for listing purposes only.
