Condition: This preowned, Vintage Cloisonné (Champlevé) Enamel On Metal Oriental Ginger Style Table Lamp is rated in Very Good to Very Good Plus condition. SPECIFICS: The lamp is made of metal, including its footed base (brass) with enamel (Cloisonné/Champlevé technique) artwork applied to it. The enamel in shades of different colors depicts various birds, plants and freeform patterns. The colors are still bright and have maintained their integrity with no fading or rubbing evident. It appears that this lamp's original double sockets was changed to a single Edison socket with harp for shade attachment. The lamp's original two prong electric cord has been retained. Overall, this item is nicely preserved with no dents, chips to enamel, cracks or damage to base. The double-laced oil crafted rustic shade with string weaving is without issue. Although this shade is not original to the lamp, it works nicely by rendering the lamp an old world kind of look. This lamp is presentable, collectible and quite functional.
