Vintage 1970\'s Lava Lite Lamp Lava-Simplex Model 100 Star Lite

• Vintage from the 1970s

• Materials: Glass, metal, plastic
• Height: 17 inches
• Width: 5.5 inches
• Depth: 5.5 inches
• As you can see from the pictures it is in perfect working order and still going strong.
• The blue liquid when not running rests in two solid pieces. See photo (a smaller loose piece is resting on top). When warmed the liquid moves around freely. Please see specks on glass in second photo when lit.
• The stainless steel \'star-lite\' base is lightly gold toned and perforated by tiny dots adding to the aesthetic charm.
• All that is needed to enjoy this lamp is a 40-60 watt bulbs(not included).
• It takes about thirty minutes for the coil imbedded in the cool \'lava\' to transmit enough heat from the bulb to kickstart the flow.1-2 hours later (could take 5-6 hours) and the show is in full swing.
• There is some paint loss/staining/patina around the base and on the top cap as photographed. General signs of age/wear/use.
