Vintage 1950’s Hubley Carnival Digger Skill Crane. This Skill Crane was used at a carnival or fair. You would place a quarter on top of the machine or place one in the coin slide and start cranking. The crane would start turning and when you get near what prize you want to pick up, you push in the skill stop knob and hopefully pick up your prize. Keep cranking and the crane travels back to where you started, dropping your well deserved prize.
The cabinet is brand new and made of mostly Red Oak. It has all new plexiglass panels, Hanging light in top and hand carved sign on top. Wood cabinet is stained oak and has vintage post office box door on the side to reach in and retrieve coins or reset crane. Back panel removes easily to change or add prizes .
This is a beautiful vintage toy and one that many of us remember playing at the local county fairs and carnivals.
A must for your Man Cave or any grandpa that wants to treat his grandchildren, to tell them of the great old days!! Very rare and amazing!!!
