Preowned item, slight wear to the back corners of the lid due to the lid and top shelf overextending when it opens (May be part of the design but screws could be adjusted to correct this) and small wear to one base foot (please see last 3 pictures). Opens and closes fine.
This is a simply beautiful oriental design covered music box that plays a 23 note melody from Sankyo.
The music box cylinder is marked with "B O", which usually indicates the song but due to the age and an incomplete published list of songs produced by Sankyo, unable to decipher which melody it plays other than it is a beautifully slow paced melody.
