VINTAGE UNSIGNED STERLING SILVER NATIVE AMERICAN STORYTELLER STYLE BELT BUCKLE WITH TURQUOISE CHIP INLAY AND POSSIBLE GOLD FILLED IMAGES— I did test the silver potion of this old vintage NA belt buckle and the base is sterling silver. The images across the buckle appear to be gold or gold filled but we have not tested them so are uncertain. We are selling the buckle with a guarantee that the base metal is sterling silver. In any case, it is a very attractive native handcrafted buckle that shows and works very well. It measures 3” x 2”, fits belts up to 1 1/2” wide and weighs 40 grams or about 1.4 ounces. It is a beautiful sterling silver buckle with a wonderful southwestern landscape and native scene. There are no hallmarks or stamps on the buckle back that we can see.
