VERY RARE VINTAGE UNITED AIRLINES Stan Galli HAWAII TRAVEL POSTER NICE SHAPE!
Of all the United Airlines Stan Galli Travel Posters, those for Hawaii are probably the most desirable! I was lucky enough to find two of them! Measuring 25 x 40 inches, this iconic United Airlines Hawaii poster depicts a beautiful native Hawaiian girl dressed in a grass skirt, a flower lei around her neck while she dances the hula on a bold pink background. Minor wear for it\'s circa 1960\'s age...see photos and condition description. Will be shipped rolled (poster is rolled as is already). Stan Galli (1912-2009) was a well known illustrator and painter who devoted the majority of his career to advertising art of all sorts. Galli\'s art hangs in the Pentagon, the Baseball Hall of Fame and other places of note, his work has been displayed at the Smithsonian Institution, the New York Historical Society and many other venues.
