Beautiful book \"Times Island Portrait of the Vineyard\" by Nancy Safford, published by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Press, Cambridge, Mass. dated 1973. 100 pages of black and white photos of some of Martha\'s Vineyard\'s yearly inhabitants and sea scapes..minus summer guests....only the beauty and solitude of the island with people who have lived and worked there for generations. In excellent condition. There is some light tiny foxing on the a few pages and book\'s top edge from sitting on a shelf with dust settling on its shoulders for 50 years.
