Actor Barry Nelson and actress Tammy Grimes sign this Playbill for a production of The Only Game In Town.
Show bill signed: "Barry Nelson", "Tammy Grimes", 61 pages, 6x9. Playbill signed for a production of The Only Game In Town play cast. Stage, screen and television actor Barry Nelson (1920-2007) earned a Tony nomination for Best Actor in a Musical for The Act (1978). He was also seen on the stage in The Moon is Blue (1951), Mary, Mary (1964), Cactus Flower (1965), Seascape (1975) and The Norman Conquests (1976). Nelson also starred in three short-lived TV series in the 1950s, including Hudson\'s Bay. He is best known, however, for being the first actor to portray James Bond (in the 1954 TV presentation of Casino Royale). Ironically, Nelson played him as Jimmy Bond, an American! He was also seen on the big screen as the hotel manager in The Shining (1980). Tammy Grimes (1934-2016) was a Tony Award-winning American actress. She studied drama at Stephens College in Missouri and New York\'s Neighborhood Playhouse before making her off-Broadway debut in The Littlest Revue (1959). Grimes developed a flamboyant, kooky on-stage persona with a resonant voice, which suited her well on stage. She has a total of 12 Broadway appearances with two Tony Award-winning performances, as Molly Tobin in The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1960-1962, 532 performances) and as Amanda Prynne in Private Lives (1970). She also has over 50 movies and TV shows to her credit, including the short-lived sitcom The Tammy Grimes Show, which lasted three seasons. Corners and edges lightly worn on front. Residue stain on front near bottom left margin.  Otherwise, fine condition.See more material from these signers:THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN PLAY CAST BARRY NELSON TAMMY GRIMES See more listings in our ACTORS & ACTRESSES (12,502) category.
