Stereoscope viewer and 79 WWI stereo cards. The viewer has \"Kawin & Co., Chicago, Patented July 29, 1902\" on the bottom. The viewer is inexcellent condition, beautiful wood, metal in great shape and even the cloth padding around the edges is beautifully intact.
The 79 stereo cards depicting scenes from World War I come in two boxes. The one box top pictured shows the title of the series. The other box could be a replacement, I don\'t know, but it\'s a basic black box that looks as if it was made for storing these slides - it is indeed old and in good condition and fits the cards perfectly. I don\'t know how many cards there should be, but I doubt this is a complete set. Two of the photos show the detailed information that is on the back of each card. Absolutely amazing and engrossing photos from the front and more during World War I. All of the cards are in excellent condition - still have good contrast, do not show signs of wear, and the cards are good and stiff, obviously stored well over the years.
