A true ceremonial object of ritual used in ceremonies to exorcise the demon, the Phurba is also used as a spiritual nail in order to neutralize the distractions due to envy, desire and gluttony.


This set is located above the God of Water (Makara) surmounting the blade entwined with serpents.

Very often, the magus will wrap the part of the varja with a cloth during certain ceremonies so as not to touch it with his hands.

Nepalese crafts more and more difficult and rare to obtain as the artisans disappear for work in the city
