This handcrafted porcelain collectible was made in Valencia, Spain by the internationally famous sculptors at the Lladro Company. Noted for the famous porcelain figurines with soft coloring and a smooth finish, they have seduced millions of people over the decades. Since 1953 Lladro has been adding new creations to its extensive body of work year after year. Other pieces, like this one, have been retired to make way for the new creations and are no longer available for purchase from the Lladros catalog. Besides their intrinsic artistic merit their collectible value makes them especially attractive.
