Karl Erik Large Acorn Pipe.
Karl Erik (1942-2004) has been gone for more than 15 years, but his genius in pipe-making lives on. Indeed, Tom Eltang uses Karl\'s old lathe. Karl\'s pipes are often in the freehand range, but his smoother, more standard shapes live up to his standards and are eye-catching pipes. Read more about this legendary craftsman pipe boasts a large bowl, at about 2 1/4\" in diameter, with striking birds eye grain all around the rim. Though it is wide, it is plump, squat, and has something of a concave profile from front to back. Its generous use of briar is accented by a black, acrylic ring, matching the stem material, with a lighter hardwood accent sandwiched between. A unique, ringed design further sets off the stem from the body of the pipe, with Karl\'s stylized \"E\" logo emblazoned on the top of the stem.
Danish construction doesn\'t get a lot heartier than this, and along with feeling great in the hand, this pipe will be a great conversation-starter!
Stamping beneath the the stummel is as 6 1/2\"Height: 1 3/4\"
